I am a bit slow to this—I spoke with Paul Daley at the Guardian last December about this, but then didn’t notice it come out. I assumed the project had been binned. But today for some reason I came across it! Daley wrote it for readers to find some hope in the dark days after the Bondi Massacre. Sadly, world events have not much improved and we are still in dire need of signs or pointers to hope. It was an honour to gather here (follow this link) a few of the things I turn to in the darker moments…
I discusses Ian McEwan, Megan Davis, Anna Funder, and Liane Carlson.
